Whats a BIM?
BIM stands for Building Information Modeling. BIM is in essence a virtual building inside a computer. It includes 3D geometry for the building, and more importantly it contains all the properties of objects in the BIM. Stresses of structural components, Materials on elements like furniture, Prices and Cost of items for the building are ideally all housed inside a BIM.
